General Asked Questions
Do you offer Buy One Get One Free (BOGO)?
No. We do not offer Buy One Get One or BOGO. As you shop Borderline Fireworks, you are going to find that our prices are better than any of those shams.
Do you offer discounts?
Yeah, we offer discounts and other deals throughout the year! Stop by and as you can gain some extra products
I live in another state, so do I still have to pay taxes?
Yes. All sales with Borderline Fireworks Outlet are handled in our Lordsburg, New Mexico store and are subject to our local, county, and state taxes.
What form of payment do you take?
Cash, Debit Cards, Credit Cards
How old do you need to be to purchase fireworks?
New Mexico state law requires that you must be at least 16 years of age. However, if you are from another state, it is your responsibility to check on your local laws for age requirements to possess and use fireworks.
What types of fireworks does Borderline Fireworks Outlet sell?
We only sell fireworks that meet the requirements of CPSC, except stick-type rockets having a tube less than ¼” inside diameter. Please note, some counties or municipalities may at times prohibit use of aerial and ground audible devices. Check with your local municipality for further details.
My fireworks were confiscated from the authorities. I want a refund, what should I do?
If you purchase items from us that are not permitted in your area, it is possible that your fireworks could be confiscated by the authorities. Should this happen, Borderline Fireworks Outlet is not responsible for any actions resulting from such confiscation. Furthermore, Borderline Fireworks Outlet shall not be held liable for your actions and you will not be provided a refund or exchange.
Do you offer curbside pickup?
Our friendly staff would be happy to assist you with any special requests for pickup. We would be happy to assist you curbside. It is recommended that you place your order online if you wish to do curbside. If you just need one or two items, we may be able to assist over the phone unless we are busy handling other amazing customers.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
For all non-fireworks, such as t-shirts or stickers, we will offer a refund with receipt or exchange. For fireworks, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges on fireworks, as once they leave the property, they cannot be resold as if the fireworks are damaged or inadvertently modified or tampered with, it would set up an opportunity for harm.

Online Order F.A.Q.
I placed an order online, but there is no way to pay, why not?
We process all payments when you arrive to pick up your merchandise. This is to validate that the order is being purchased and picked up by someone the legal age that meets the State of New Mexico regulations and laws.
Can you ship me an order I placed online?
At this time, we do not ship orders online. Check back at a later date as we may update our offer to sell, pay, and ship online.
How long do I have to pick up my order?
You will have 72 hours to pick up your order or it will be canceled and you will have to submit a new order. If you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us and we will be able to assist you further.
I live in another state or Mexico. Can I still buy fireworks online from you and pick up?

Do you sell M-80s or Cherry Bombs?
Unfortunately, no we do not and even our competitors do not sell then. They were banned in the 1960's and are considered illegal explosive devices.
Where should I store my fireworks when they are not being used?
Fireworks should always be stored in a dry, cool place. Fireworks can last a really long time if you do that!
Can you hold Roman Candles?
While older versions of roman candles used to be held, most common roman candles today recommend that you put them in something after being lit, just as a glass, jar, or another base.
